Sirene

Our home holidays is located in the very heart of Ortigia Island, the old town of Syracuse and Unesco world heritage site, in historical building of the ‘800, recently restored and returned to all its original splendour. It is located a few steps from the sea and Aretusa Spring , half way between the Cathedral and Maniace Castle. It's a large and elegant studio apartment on the first floor of our building, easily accessible also by a comfortable elevator. It's called "Sirens" because the balcony overlooking the sea, only 30 meters far, is like a Siren on a rock. It consists of a large room divided into living area (which includes entry, sofa bed, table, chairs and kitchenette) and bedroom (with bed, dresser and wardrobe). Two balconies, one overlooking the sea, the other one on a characteristic "lane" of Ortigia complete the description. It's furnished with antiques and equipped with typical Sicilian linen. Typical wooden beams on the ceiling, paintings and prints together with lovely rugs over the ancient terracotta floors characterize its strong style. It can accommodate up to 4 people.
