Our home holidays is located in the very heart of Ortigia Island, the old town of Syracuse and Unesco world heritage site, in historical building of the ‘800, recently restored and returned to all its original splendour. The location is impressive: a few steps from the sea and Aretusa Spring , half way between the Cathedral and Maniace Castle. It's called “Veliero” (Sailing Ship) for both the picturesque sea view from one of the two balconies, the sea is about 30 meters far away, and for its great position particularly airy and bright. It 's a large open space loft flat on the second floor, also accessible by a modern lift. Furnished with taste and attention to details, this flat is characterized by the elegant wooden ceilings and the terracotta floor. The living area is composed of a large living room with fitted kitchen (fully equipped), dining area and sofa-bed. An old chandelier lights the typical living room furnished with antiques. Ante-bathroom and bathroom complete the living area. A typical wooden and wrought iron staircase leads to the loft where you find the bedroom with double bed and a comfortable couch. It is suitable for 5 people. Ideal for couples, families and friends don't need any separate room.
