Our home holidays is located in the very heart of Ortigia Island, the old town of Syracuse and Unesco world heritage site, in historical building of the ‘800, recently restored and returned to all its original splendour. The location is impressive: a few steps from the sea and Aretusa Spring , half way between the Cathedral and Maniace Castle.'s a two-room apartment located on the first floor.It’s called "The Fairies" for the magical and enchanting atmosphere you can breathe.It consists of a living room - kitchenette, bedroom, bathroom with shower and large terrace.An old stone arch and a well with a niche of the ‘800 characterize the living room-kitchenette.A typical brick staircase leads to the bedroom, with a window on the typical roofs of Ortigia and the courtyard below, where you can take in the lovely smell of the magnificent orange tree when it's in flower. The furnishings is made with antique Sicilian furniture. A lovely wooden staircase leads to the terrace, which offers a picturesque view on the rooftops of Ortigia.
It can be used as a sun terrace and it has delicious armchairs, table and sunshade.
From here you can also enjoy a drink, having lunch or enjoy a romantic dinner. It allows you to enjoy the pleasant evening breeze. It’s adorned with typical local plants.It can accommodate maximum 2 people.
