It’s on the second floor in one of the most prestigious buildings of the ‘800, in the island of Ortigia, recently renovated and restored to its original splendour, located about 20 meters from Piazza Duomo (Duomo means “Cathedral”, hence its name).You can accede to the apartment through a beautiful wrought iron gate and a typical ogival stone arch. The building also has a modern and comfortable lift.The open space loft flat, carefully renovated, consists of living area, sleeping area and terrace.
The living area is composed of a large living room with kitchen, dining area and sofa-bed.
A typical wooden staircase leads to the bedroom, located on a mezzanine in wood and wrought iron, a large bathroom with shower and bathtub complete the apartment.Moreover its strong style is marked by old wooden beams, paintings, genuine masters and typical lights.
The building terrace on the outside of the apartment, in practice reserved for our guests only, reachable by staircase of few steps, offers a view over the rooftops of Ortigia with sea views. It can be used as a sun terrace and it has armchairs, table and sunshade.It’s advisable for 4 people or families with children.
