Baronie

Our home holidays is located in the very heart of Ortigia Island, the old town of Syracuse and Unesco world heritage site, in historical building of the ‘800, recently restored and returned to all its original splendour.The location is impressive: a few steps from the sea and Aretusa Spring , half way between the Cathedral and Maniace Castle.
Baronie is so called because furnished with Sicilian antiques and decorated with vintage prints, paintings and curtains’s on the second floor of the building, also accessible by a modern lift. It 's a two room-apartment consisting of entrance hall, bedroom and living room with fitted kitchen (masonry), provided with a comfortable sofa-bed. Two nice small balconies (Juliette) overlooking the
"narrow streets" of Ortigia and bathroom with shower complete the description. It can accommodate up to 4 people.

All apartments equipped the same:
The building is equipped with a wide and modern glass elevator for the three floors. An antique marble staircase joins the different floors. All the apartments are furbished in a very tasteful way and with facilities such as: cooking place, refrigerator, heating system and air-conditioning, national and terrestrial digital TV, radio with CD player, flat-iron and ironing-board. Table-cloth and dishes are very well selected. Bathrooms supplied with hot water, shower and hair-dryer. Set of sheets and towels. Common room supplied with washing-machine and clothes-lines to hang laundry.
